We know that your first time at a church brings up some questions. How do I get there? What should I wear? What's available for my kids? What to expect?
Getting There
On Sunday mornings we meet at Freedom High School in south Orlando. You can find a link to directions in the "When & Where" area on this page. We currently offer a cafe called The Oasis at 9:15 AM and worship celebration starts at 10 AM. When you arrive, follow the Southside signs to our parking area. Then head for the main entrance. One of our friendly greeters will be there with a smile. If you need childcare or are looking for a class for your kids, they'll help you find what you need.
What to Wear
We're more interested in getting to know you and meeting your needs than what you wear. So dress casual if you choose and you'll fit right in.
For Kids
Childcare is provided in Cuddle Bay (our nursery) for children birth to 2 years and in Shani Cove (our preschool) for children 3 to 5 years.
We believe in the importance of supporting the family at Southside. All kids K thru 5th grade are invited to participate in Odyssey, which corresponds with the adult celebration. On all 5th Sundays children are invited to worship with their families.
What to Expect
Come enjoy worship that is upbeat and current. You willl hear a message that is practical and relevant. Something you can apply to your life right away.
Spanish speakers will feel welcomed at Southside. We strive to connect with our Spanish brothers and sisters in Christ with some resources provided such as, songs sung in Spanish, Bibles translated in spanish and interpretation if need be..
There is a lot to think about when you visit a church for the first time. We are friendly fellowship who want you to feel at home from your first moment at Southside. We want you to experience the encouragement and love that God has for you.
