Worship Arts Community ~ Ministry Opportunities

 

1. Vocal Ensemble

Purpose: To help usher people to praise and worshipduring services

with singing. Support special events

Responsibilities:

1. Commitment to rehearsals and worship services.

2. Help lead services.

3. Support in set up and tear down of sound and visual enhancements after services.

4. Attend retreats and conferences.

5. Schedule flexible pending on implantation of vocal teams.

 

2. Praise Band

Purpose: To help usher people to praise and worship during service

with instruments. Support special events.

Responsiblities:

1. Commitment to rehearsals and worship services.

2. Set up instruments during morning set up.

3. Help during tear down of instruments after worship serivces.

4. Attend retreats and music conferences.

5. Schedule to play 2-3 times per month.

 

3. Drama

Purpose:To help enhance worship services with thematic drama and skits.

Responsiblities:

1. Commitment to being available for rehearsals.

2. Memorize scripts.

3. If gifted in writing, help write scripts for worship services.

4. Attend drama seminars and conferences.

5. Attend Worship Arts retreats.

6. Pending on drama schedule for services.

 

4. Sound Technician

Purpose: To help support and enhance worship services and special

events with sound reinforcment.

Responsibilities:

1. Help set up all sound related

equipment fro worship services and

special events.

2. Learn to run sound mixing board.

3. Knowledge trouble shooting sound equipment is a plus.

4. Help tear down all sound related equipment after worship services.

5. Attend Worship Arts retreats and conferences.

6. Schedule 2-3 times a per month.

 

5. Video Team

Purpose: To help enhance worship services and special events by helping produce thematic videos.

Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge of video aquipment operation.

2. Create videos for announcements, ministry focus, testimonies, special events.

3. Knowledge in using video software.

4. Produce finished DVDs.

5. Schedule- be available to shoot video footage during the week.

- be available to shoot video footage during Sunday services.

 

6. Multimedia

Purpose: To help support and enhance worship services

and special events with multimedia using computer and video projector, DVD, etc..

Responsibilities:

1. Set up computer and video projector (VHS and DVD units when needed) for worship services and special events.

2. Run computer, VHS ro DVD units during worship services.

3. Create, develop or edit Powerpoint-like presentation for programs.

4. Help in packing up equipment after worship sercvices.

5. Attend Worship Arts retreats and conferences.

6. Schedule fexible.

 

7. Lighting

Purpose: To help enhance worship and special events with creative lighting.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up lighting for worship services.

2. Run light mixing board.

3. Tear down lighting after worship services.

4. be available for special programs and events.

5. Attend Worship Arts retreats and special conferences.
